1980. Original election poster for the German green party Die Grünen. Being a founding member of the party, German Fluxus artist Joseph Beuys asked Andy Warhol to design an election poster. They were hand-printed by Joseph Beuys' scholars and most of them were used in Germany's 1980 election campaign.
This Andy Warhol für die Grünen poster 1980 is a Screenprint on paper election poster which was pasted on walls, placed on kiosks and shop windows. The edition size is unknown, Poster is not signed nor numbered. No printers mark. The Publisher was F.I.U. Free International University, Düsseldorf (founded by Joseph Beuys).
